Harlem Council Member Rodriguez Statement On Record Low Pedestrian Fatalities

Today, Monday, January 8, 2018, Harlem’s Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez issued a statement on the lowest levels of pedestrian fatalities in New York City announced today by the Administration:

“Today I stand with the Mayor and my colleagues to share the progress we have made in achieving our Vision Zero goals and lowest levels of pedestrian deaths ever recorded in our city.

“Our commitment to pedestrian safety is reflected in our legislation and budget. As a walkable city, we must continue to work hard in reducing pedestrian fatalities. I look forward to working with Speaker Corey Johnson, my colleagues in Council and the Administration this new session to make our streets safer for all.”
