Vacation Time, NYC To Bermuda For Under $300

April 25, 2016

bermuda in harlem1Sitting at home in Harlem, and you’re ready to start planning your beach escape now, thanks to JetBlue, Delta, and United.

The islands are calling, and three airlines are dealing out the best fare for travel from New York City to Bermuda, Barbados, and Panama.Flights to these areas usually cost upwards of $500 round-trip, and even more around the holidays. But, with a round-trip deal found by Scott Keyes, of Scott’s Cheap Flights, the prices are as low as $266 to Bermuda, and only slightly higher for escapes to Panama and the Bahamas. Need further incentive? Check out our Hot List awards for the best new hotels in the Caribbean, or plan your Panamanian visit with our 2015 Reader’s Choice Award hotels.

Follow these steps to take advantage of the ultra-low fares, which are expected to last for another day or two:

Bermuda – $266

The NYC to Bermuda deal lasts the longest, applying to flights from May 2016 through March 2017 (yes, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s). Use Google Flights to compare JetBlue and Delta, using a sample search to find the best deals.

Panama – $283

As an early summer treat, fly from New York to Panama City from May through June 2016. Use Google Flight’s date box on a sample search to bring up a calendar of best fares on United, if you have flexible timing.

Barbados – $275

Start May off on the right foot with a trip to Barbados, on a Delta or JetBlue flight. Again, use Google Flights—and act fast on this fare—since the deal applies to flights this May.
